This week in assembly, Year 1 and 2 delighted us with their storytelling. They retold the story of Cinderella with lots of rhythm and expressions. It was incredible that they learned all of that off by heart! After that they taught us some actions so we could do storytelling ourselves.
Later, Nursery and Reception showed us that they had all brought in bears today. There were polar bears, Paddington bears, Winnie the Pooh… They’re studying bears and today they’re having a Teddy Bear’s Picnic. We all wished we could join them! The star of the week in Nursery & Reception was Cloe!
In Year 4, although there were no stars this week, Javi earned his pen. This is because he now uses joined up handwriting in all his work, ALL the time, which has really improved his presentation and makes it a pleasure to read. Congratulations Javi!
We finished assembly by singing Happy Birthday to Oleguer and Santi!
