Year 1 had the opportunity to visit the port at Arenys de Mar. We learned about fishing boats and fishing techniques. We were able to look at real nets and see how they were used to collect particular types of fish. During the trip we got to go onto a real boat and take a trip around the harbour and port. It was very exciting! After lunch we explored the local beach and walked to have a look at the sea.
