Nursery and Reception have been busy making and creating this week! The cardboard boxes, donated by our kind parents, have been transformed into, castles, space rockets, trains and even some very stylish outfits!
In phonics, they have been listening to and talking about different sounds. They created their own (very noisy) musical instruments and spoke about the different words they could use to describe the sounds. After, they got the opportunity to play their instruments in time to a song.
During storytime, we have been reading the book ‘Red Rockets and Rainbow Jelly’ the children really enjoyed this book and it has been a great way to start conversations surrounding their likes and dislikes. This week, we decided to create our own version of the book. The children were very surprised to see their own faces appearing on the pages.
