Thank you to all the representatives from our community who participated in our UNICEF Rights Respecting School Silver Award Inspection from 9.00 to 11:00 this morning. Not only management, but teachers, parents and of course students responded to intense questioning to determine ISCAT’s commitment to the UNICEF values across the school and thus merit the prestigious Silver Award. RRS Class representatives led Frances, the inspector, on a complete tour of the school, answering all questions confidently and highlighting class charters and other UNICEF initiatives as they appeared. In post-inspection feedback, Frances highlighted the maturity of the language used by our students to illustrate their knowledge and commitment, and she described it a ‘very successful student-led’ inspection. The result? SILVER RRS AWARD for ISCAT! And not only that – we are already half-way to Gold!! Congratulations to all…and LET’S GO FOR GOLD ???????
