ISCAT is about to embark in “Fairtrade Fortnight”, a campaign which is celebrated throughout the UK to spread the word and understanding around Fair Trade and the links to the Climate Crisis.
In partnership with Fairtrade.org.uk, Scotland´s Educational Development Centres delivered training to staff working in schools which focused on Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12): Responsible Consumption from the United Nations 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
Our ISCAT teachers have come away from the course having deepened their understanding and are full of fresh ideas that will help our students to learn about the role of fairtrade. We want to empower our ISCAT community to make a stand and play their part in the future of our planet and equality for all.
From 22nd February until 5th March ISCAT, together with hundreds of schools across the UK, will take part in celebrating “Fairtrade Fortnight”.
