As part of our “Let´s get cycling” initiative, our Year 5 students were the next group to use bikes to arrive at Forest School this week and in the words of one of our students, it was “The Best Forest School Session Ever!”
Along with the excitement of bikes, a rare opportunity to play in a stream presented itself due to the rainfall the previous day and in classic Forest School style, our students were let free to explore and follow their instincts to discover new things.
It certainly adds another dynamic to our already well loved forest sessions and further supports our commitment as a school to support the UN 17 Global Goals of Sustainable Development, working towards a cleaner planet.
