As an inclusive school, our students have spent time learning about life with Autism. On Friday 9th April, our Year 8 students performed a short play to our primary students to help them to see the challenges and beauty which autism brings.
Research shows that the number of people diagnosed with autism is increasing year by year. This is due in part to an increased awareness and openness to seek help, as well as potentially environment factors.
As Duty Bearers, we believe that we have a responsibility to help our students to have an inclusive mindset by showing empathy and awareness of the needs of others.
