As part of our secondary Forest School programme, students in Year 8 begin to become familiar with maps in the local area. After mapping out routes with coordinates for reference, they took to the streets of La Garriga and realised that it’s not quite as easy as it’s first looks!
The students separated into two groups making teamwork essential in all decision making moments. They discovered new areas of La Garriga that even our local students were unfamiliar with and have laid some good foundations to build on in their coming forest school sessions. They will certainly be prepared for the Duke of Edinburgh Programme when they enter Year 10.
