We always look forward to the wonderful tradition of the Castanyada at ISCAT and this year was no different.
From Nursery through to Year 6, our students spent time learning about local traditions and songs and even met the Castanyera in person whilst she was busy roasting the chestnuts on an open fire on our school patio.
A trip to the forest, Moniato (sweet potato) dressing, paper cone making and castanyes roasting… the perfect recipe for a wonderful day!
