Our Year 5 and 6 children took to the rails to visit Museu Egipci de Barcelona. 😊
In a bid to reduce air contamination, the children travelled, using public transport, from La Garriga to the centre of Barcelona. 🌱
Leaving the train they found themselves exploring the streets of the city, which were bustling with shoppers, tourists and workers. As we have many international families in our community, this was the first experience of entering Barcelona city by train for some of our young children and they were delighted. 🚈
What an exciting start to the morning! 🥰
At the museum, the children had a great time taking part in workshops to learn about the mummification process. They were able to see the result of mummification first hand by viewing some real mummies from Ancient Egypt and a collection of artefacts. 😵
