Our Year 3, 4, and 5 students visited the l’Auditori de Barcelona recently to watch and listen to JONC alevins (Jove Orchestra Nacional de Catalunya), an orchestra of professional musicians under 18 years old. The performance included music by Britten, Beethoven, Toldrà, Stravinsky and more. It was a perfect opportunity to feel the impact of live music, to watch the instruments of the orchestra in action and train the habit of listening in a more dynamic way. 🎼
