Our Early Years learners had a fantastic time engaging in hands-on mathematical thinking with tangrams! Through play-based exploration, they used geometric pieces to create new shapes, patterns, and even pictures of familiar objects. This fun and engaging activity encouraged problem-solving, creativity, and spatial awareness.
As part of the EYFS Mathematics curriculum, this experience supported shape recognition, logical thinking, and fine motor skills – all essential building blocks for future mathematical understanding. 🔢✨
