ISCAT is proud to have earned the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Gold Award, making us one of the first schools to pioneer this initiative outside the UK! 🏆💙
Rooted in the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child, this programme empowers our students to understand their rights – and the responsibilities that come with them. We believe that by embedding these values into our school culture, students grow into active, responsible, and compassionate global citizens. 🌱💡
At ISCAT:
✔️ Our senior leadership team ensures key decisions align with UNICEF’s principles.
✔️ Our students use Rights Respecting language in their daily interactions.
✔️ Each class elects a student representative for our steering group and makes a class charter.
✔️ We collaborate with families, local businesses, and UNICEF UK & Catalunya to support fundraisers and awareness events.
Together, we are building a school community that respects, supports, and champions children’s rights. 🌎💙
