Good choices come from experience and today our Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students had the opportunity to visit the second best university in Spain. 👏

To help our students make sense of the realities of university life, we went on a student-led tour of @uab_autonoma.

The university is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty: 263 Hectares of campus surface area with 60% covered in woodlands and green areas. Each faculty has its own 24/7 library and bar.

Our students basked in the ambiance and walked away with a memorable and valuable experience.

For interested families, UAB is hosting an Open Day on the 7th of May. This time, parents and young people can go inside each faculty building to explore what specific subjects are on offer. 😊

💬”I like the energy that the place gives off, but it is too far a commute.” Winella, Year 10

💬”I really liked the tour. The student guide covered everything there is to know. I would have liked free time to go and discover the campus on our own.” Alexandra, Year 11.

💬”I enjoyed it because we could, sort of, experience university life. I didn’t like that they don’t offer art courses on site. But it was a good experience.” Martina, Year 10

💬”I liked the tour, especially when I saw all the different options you can choose from. It has given me a fresh incentive to study more when I see what they provide to the students.” Liza, Year 10
