🚌✨ Year 7, 8 & 9 students recently went on a trip to the Maths Museum of Catalonia.
They explored mathematical concepts through interactive exhibitions and activities, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of maths in a fun and engaging way.🔺🔵🟡
One highlight of the visit was participating in the special “Leonardo’s Domes” activity. Students worked together to construct a dome approximately 4 metres in diameter and one metre high, using only rods. They discovered that the weight of the pieces alone was enough to keep the structure stable—no other joining elements needed! 🏛️🔍🔢
