Yesterday (World Radio Day) Year 5 had the pleasure of visiting Radio Silenci’s studio in La Garriga. It was a great opportunity for them to see how everything is recorded, how a local radio works and to discover this amazing fact: Catalonia is the place in the world with more radio stations per area!
After this great discovery the workers were very helpful and let the children record a part of a program. They have been working very hard on it at school in Spanish. After the nervousness of speaking to the microphones and wearing the big headphones they loved listening to their own voices in the recordings. It sounded so professional!
All in all, it was a pleasure to be there and we will definitely be back next year!
