Year 10 geography students have investigated a recent local weather event. There was a 4-day storm this January that passed through Catalunya called Storm Gloria.
They surveyed ISCAT students and teachers in order to collect qualitative data that can be used to demonstrate their perception of the event. The investigation team collected weather data of the Storm Gloria event in order to demonstrate the severity of the storm. They also compare it to historical records of other January storms.
Students presented their investigation findings to an audience of Years 7, 8, and 9. It was during the assembly on Friday 14th, prior to half-term break. Their presentation was well received and applauded by all.
